Lime One has dealt with over 600 copyright infringement actions since 2006 including cease and desist use notices. Lime One was formed in 2002. Our service is limited to mediation services and requests for further information to assist you in settling the dispute on fair terms. Please note that when you are accused of copyright theft you should take advice quickly and our initial service asks various questions from the copyright owner to determine the amount due under fair useage terms.
How does it happen?
Many of our clients have mistakenly accepted their web developer’s word for it that the images used are owned or on licence to use for commercial purposes.
Some clients have used images which are provided for commercial use and been paid for to another business who also claims ownership and are confused when some other company asserts rights of use in a stern legal letter. Often these letters are accompanied by calls and faxes.

Our Prices range from:
- Search fees of name and logo between £125-£450 plus VAT depending on complexity of search requirements.
- Application fee preparation for up to 4 classes £350 plus VAT
- Application fees for additional class £15-£35 plus VAT per class
None of the charges above relate to disputed or challenged applications. Any disputes will be quoted for separately as they occur.
Please note all fees on registration payable to IPO are separate from costs above. The fees quoted above are Lime One fees only. Details of fees payable will be provided at the time of the quote. Current fees per application are £200 including one class and £50 per class thereafter. Costs quote current as at 26 6 2009 and are subject to change from the IPO.
